writing as therapy
Writing helps many people handle anxious thoughts and feelings. It may help people look at their traumatic situations in more of an observer role, easing pain, and facilitating the cathartic processes.
WHAT READERS SAY
With its rawness and candidness, this book could be very helpful for some people. It starts out sad but has glimmers of hope throughout, especially at the end.

Recovery from childhood trauma
I wrote my poetry book, The Beautiful Borderline, over a period of 35 years. I wasn't sure if it would ever be published. There were times when hope was scarce and the words lay dormant inside me. I had a daughter as a teen mother, went to college, struggled with depression and anxiety and an autoimmune illness and within the past few years realized I also had BPD. I believe Borderline Personality Disorder gets a bad rap. To describe the disorder, there is a deep well inside you and you're trying to get out, sometimes relying on others too much to help pull you out of yourself (your emotions), when the best way to climb out of the well and heal is to learn to swim and climb, by learning new coping methods, positive self-talk and thought restructuring. There is a wealth of information on-line about Cognitive BehaviorTherapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Empower yourself. Even if it's awkward, there is always beauty in growth. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/borderline-personality-disorder/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20370242
